Open to students and residents of District 3. Students may apply for only 5th grade admissions.
Diversity in Admissions: Applicants eligible for free or reduced price lunch will be considered first for 25% of seats. For the remaining 75% of seats, all students will be considered.

About the school
The school only accepts applicants for fifth grade. It has a four year program that restricts entry at other grades. Classes are heterogeneously grouped, grades 5-8. Theater forms a structure for the children to succeed in a rigorous academic system.An advisory system is in place and each student has an adult advocate to guide them socially and academically through the year .
