About the school

Community Math & Science Prep is a vibrant middle school where every student is known, challenged, and celebrated. We believe that learning thrives in small groups, where teachers can tailor instruction to meet each student’s unique needs and strengths. This personalized approach supports academic growth while nurturing confidence and curiosity. Our school is more than a place to learn it’s a place to belong. Classrooms buzz with inquiry and creativity, as students collaborate, think critically, and take intellectual risks. Beyond the classroom, students engage in experiences that build character, foster teamwork, and strengthen community. Each spring, our students take the stage in a full Broadway Jr. production, a schoolwide event that showcases their talent, dedication, and collaboration. This is just one example of how we create meaningful opportunities for students to grow as individuals and as members of a larger community. What sets us apart is our commitment to what works: strong relationships, thoughtful instruction, and a belief that middle school should be both rigorous and joyful. We partner closely with families and the local community to ensure that every student is supported socially, emotionally, and academically. At Community Math & Science Prep, we don’t just prepare students for the next grade we prepare them to lead, to collaborate, and to thrive.
