Through partnerships with outside organizations, students learn by connecting with professionals. All of our students take computer science, including block based coding, video game design, and web design. We have a one-to-one Chromebook program, enabling all students to access technology in the classroom and at home. We also offer finance programs where students are immersed in a schoolwide economy with School Bucks, financial courses, school jobs, a school bank, and a school store. The school has been featured in The New York Times, PBS, New York Daily News, Wall Street Journal, NY1 News, and the NY Post for its innovative programs.Class size in the middle school arts program is 15 students, providing for extra creativity and personal attention. All middle school students receive expanded day programming until 5:20 PM Monday through Friday including academic support, arts, and athletics. We have a model Spanish dual language program and most students select our high school program and remain with us for 7 years.
