About the school

At Soundview Academy for Culture & Scholarship (SVA), we are committed to nurturing the whole child. We value each student, treat them with respect, challenge them academically, and support them through personal and social-emotional growth. Our classrooms integrate a 1:1 student-to-iPad model, enhancing our district-wide Language & Arts Program with 21st-century teaching and learning strategies. Instruction at SVA is individualized and rooted in both cutting-edge digital tools and hands-on, globally minded curricula. Students specialize in one of three vibrant arts pathways, media arts, theater, or dance, while developing their linguistic and emotional intelligence through our English as a New Language (ENL), Spanish Dual Language, and mentorship programs. Priority enrollment is given to students residing in our zoned area and to those in the Dual Language program. Families value our dedicated educators who design instruction that connects student interests to real-world applications. They also appreciate our open-door culture, timely communication about grades, and ongoing outreach from mentors who focus on both academic success and social development.
