About the school
Mott Hall Community School combines a rigorous program in science, technology and math with an ambitious, humanities-based grounding in fine arts. Our goal is to facilitate growth in the next generation of leaders through the extension and promotion of engineering and arts. We raise the performance levels of students through a collaborative, community-based approach, the endeavors of a committed faculty, and active, engaged parents. Housed in the heart of Throgs Neck, we prepare students for entry into high school by exposing them to the multitude of educational opportunities that our city has to offer. A fully functional science lab, infused computing, and internet-ready classrooms with interactive technology promote intellectually prepared, well-rounded students who are ready to assume their future in the 21st century.
