About the school
Mott Hall III is proud to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. This distinction reflects our commitment to a rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum where students think critically, make real-world connections, and develop the habits of character reflected in the IB Learner Profile, including becoming caring, open-minded, and knowledgeable members of their communities. Our students and families value our small, supportive environment where every child is known, cared for deeply, and challenged to reach their highest potential. We celebrate student talents through curriculum fairs, talent showcases, and cultural celebrations. Students explore future pathways through college trips and College and Career Days. Through our partnership with LEAP (Learning through an Expanded Arts Program), students participate in daily afterschool enrichment opportunities. We also offer a variety of athletics, including basketball, flag football, track and field, baseball, softball, soccer, and volleyball. Our musical theater program brings a Broadway-level production to our community each year, and our visual arts program helps students develop their unique artistic expression and portfolios for high school applications. Our eighth graders consistently gain acceptance to top specialized, selective, independent, and parochial high schools throughout NYC and beyond. Students benefit from technology-rich classrooms and opportunities to take Regents-level courses and earn high school credit. At MH3, we partner with families to ensure every student grows as a scholar, artist, athlete, leader, and global citizen. Come see what we have to offer—you will find your future at MH3!
