About the school

Arts and Letters 305 United has three guiding principles that are woven throughout all aspects of our school. They are student voice, compassion and curiosity, and equity and antiracism. Middle school students start each day with a 6-8 grade morning meeting in which they get the opportunity to connect with their teachers, classmates, and themselves to set them up for a successful day. Other aspects of our school community include advisory, electives, roundtables, and strong arts instruction. Each grade goes on an overnight trip that is connected to their content learning. Our strong school culture is built on engaging academic and social emotional content, restorative justice practices, and the belief that joy and justice are at the heart of everything we do.
