Our mission is to ensure that every student develops the skills necessary to build a strong social and academic foundation that leads to a productive and informed citizen who can communicate and collaborate with a diverse community. With our partnerships with St. Nicks Alliance, and participation in initiatives such as STEAM, College Access for All, Algebra for All, Civics for All, and Computer Science for All, our students are provided with world-class learning opportunities and experiences that support our students in becoming civic-minded leaders. Our students fly drones, build futuristic heliports, program robots with their coding skills, test the soil and water quality, use the school garden and Hydroponics Lab to study vegetation, and create simple machines for presentation at our Annual STEAM Expo. Our students participate in advisory groups, engage in daily class discussion, weekly class debates, meet CEOs of corporations, redesign neighborhood parks to be environmentally-friendly, and work in small groups to strengthen their reading and math skills. Monthly trips to museums, parks, cultural institutions and colleges provide students with real world applications to what they learn and design in school. Our students are building community to engineer the future.
