About the school
MS 267 Math, Science & Technology School Overview At MS 267 Math, Science & Technology, we believe that all scholars can learn and all scholars want to learn. Our school community is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous environment where scholars are challenged to reach their full potential while developing the skills necessary for success in high school, college, and beyond. Mission Statement The MS 267 community will work relentlessly to empower our scholars to be successful in high school, college, and beyond. Our Commitment We are committed to fostering academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and social-emotional growth through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and enriching experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Our scholars participate in rigorous standards-based learning while developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Learning Beyond the Classroom At MS 267, learning extends far beyond our school walls. Scholars participate in educational and cultural experiences that broaden their perspectives and expose them to new opportunities. Throughout the year, scholars attend Broadway productions, museums, colleges, cultural institutions, STEM experiences, and other destinations based on their interests and aspirations. These experiences help scholars make real-world connections to their learning while exploring future college and career pathways. Student Leadership Student voice is an important part of our school culture. Each year, our Student Government is elected and formally installed in early October. Student leaders work collaboratively with staff and peers to organize events, represent scholar concerns, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
