About the school

Our vision is to cultivate an inclusive, multicultural community that fosters strong parent communication and family ties. Together, teachers, administrators, and staff collaborate to provide rigorous, college-ready instruction tailored to the 21st-century learner. Our mission is simple: our school’s pride is our students' academic achievements, and our motivation is their success. Structured into 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade academies, Ditmas introduces students to the arts, world languages, and a standards-aligned curriculum at every grade level. We are proud to host two district-screened Superintendent classes, two advanced Algebra classes, and an inclusive environment for all learners. Ditmas is highly regarded for our digital media classes, where students work with cutting-edge technology. We also offer vibrant after-school activities, including our Title I and Title III academic support programs taught by our own dedicated Ditmas teachers. Here, students are challenged academically and celebrated for their cultural diversity.
