About the school
Brownsville Collaborative Middle School for Agriculture and Technology provides EVERY Scholar with a Competitive Edge. We offer the following Regents Courses: Algebra I, Living Environment, US History, English Language Arts, Spanish I, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics and Trigonometry. Our school ranks amongst the highest in the city, with a 75% proficiency in Mathematics, and 70% proficiency in English Language Arts. When BCMS A&T Scholars enters the 9th grade, they are prepared to take Advanced Placement College Preparation Courses. BCMS A&T also offer: Civics, Debate, Financial Literacy, STEM Robotics, Entrepreneurship, and Hydroponics. BCMS A&T extra-curricular course include: STEP, Dance Major, Ballet, Martial Arts, Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Anime, Marching Band, Golf, and Tennis. Every classroom is facilitated by two Highly Effective Teachers, including the Honors classes. Our Scholars and families have access to the campus 7 days per week until 10 PM. BCMS A&T is proud to be a Broadway Jr. School, where our Scholars perform Broadway plays throughout the school year. BCMS A&T has strong partnerships with: The Dream Foundation, C.A.R.E (Sensei Jackie), STRONG POWER, The Ella Baker Institute, SMART BOND, Pfizer Education, and Brownsville Multi-Services.
