About the school

IS 125Q is a vibrant learning community that reflects the greater Queens borough. We use Restorative Practices to promote positive behaviors, address conflict, and provide a supportive and inclusive education. Our Arts Department offers students 8 different tracks: Band, Chorus, Dance, Digital Arts (3D Printing), Drama, Music Theory, Orchestra, and Visual Arts. We offer students competitive athletics in basketball, soccer, and track, as well as intramural sports like volleyball, badminton, cheer, and weight training. Our Regents program offers qualifying students the opportunity to earn high school credit for 4 Regents exams: Algebra, English, U.S. History and Government, and Earth Science or Living Environment. We offer a variety of clubs and activities, including Minecraft, LEGO Robotics, our school newspaper, and Anime club. Our STEM program is linked with NY Sunworks, and we offer tutoring and Regents prep throughout the school year. Instagram: @IS125Q
