About the school

Our instructional philosophy is built on the belief that literacy is the lifeblood of education. We also believe in educating the whole child by taking learning beyond the walls of the classroom. We offer a wide range of unique programs and opportunities in Arts Elective Program: Students can choose from a variety of arts and science courses to prepare for specialized high schools. STEM Program: Our program teaches students to tackle real-world challenges like scientists and engineers. Project-Based Learning: Our initiatives, including "CASA Community Wednesdays," allow students to engage in areas they are passionate about, such as Social Justice, STEM, Financial Literacy, and Sustainability. Dual Language Program: Families can opt their children into our Dual Language program. Accelerated Program: At the end of 6th grade, families can choose an accelerated program for 7th and 8th grade. Extracurriculars: Students can join our award-winning school band and debate team, participate in sports like basketball, volleyball, and our championship futsal team, or be active in student government. As a PROSE (Progressive Redesign Opportunity Schools for Excellence) program school, CASA has the flexibility to innovate in teaching methods and school design. We prioritize admissions for students from low-income households, those in temporary housing, and English Language Learners to ensure a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Join us at CASA, where we empower students to reach their fullest potential.
