About the school
Being a part of the College Point Collaborative community means being part of a caring, hardworking, and supportive school family. At our school, everyone is encouraged to do their best, be kind to others, and never stop learning. Our mission is to provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment where rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and teamwork help us reach academic excellence. We are dedicated to helping every student growboth in the classroom and as a person. Our staff works together in teams to support students through the academic challenges of middle school. Students also receive an advisory period focused on restorative justice, where they learn how to build strong relationships and solve problems in respectful ways. They also have tailored instructional periods that give them the support they need to grow as learners. Our vision is to see our students become active, responsible, and productive members of the community with strong values and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. What makes us stand out is how much we care not just about grades, but about who you are and who you can become.
